Live in Baltimore City in the Mount Vernon area, known for its beautiful 19th century architecture. Have a small (20 x 22} front garden that is fairly well protected and sunlight varies because of the tall homes around me. Planted a formal garden (to match the architecture of our house) with patches of fun stuff. I have a very light-green thumb and my wife, Cindy, has a very bright green thumb. I designed (or over-designed) the garden and cindy has to bail me out often. thanks, michael
