I'm an apartment gardener w/ houseplants. I buy tomato plants in the spring at the Greenmarket which I love because I can pretend I'm harvesting delicious little patio tomatoes from my backyard. My main regret is not having a real garden in a country backyard so my windowsill will have to do. I'd like to branch out to growing tiny french strawberries but need to research this.
I have two grown daughters -- one is a standup comedienne and the other is a Ph.D candidate who is teaching at a state university at the moment. I'm a retired lawyer who loves to cook and bake. I'm looking forward to enjoying chats w/ other gardenweb members.
