I started keeping housplants as a young child, and gardening outdoors as a preteen. Things have been going strong since then and my family groans every time they hear "there is always room for one more" when I bring yet another plant home. My newest interest is tender bulbs, which extends far beyond the simple offerings at the local garden center. So I am working on restraining myself when it comes to mail order. But it is hard to keep one's passions in check.
