I am a wife, mother, and grandmother of 5. The way I calm my nerves is by working in my flower beds. I love perennials and have many to share...just need to know WHEN to split them up. I'm a "rookie" gardener, as far as knowing names, etc., but have a green thumb. My blessed mother did not raise many flowers..everything she grew was edible veggies to can for us. I have a perennial that my cousin gave me...she calls it a moonflower. It grows very low to the ground, has yellow blooms at night and spreads by the root. I cannot find the botanical name for this plant, but it is beautiful and everyone loves to see it for the first time.
