I have a small (~100 gallon pond) with a small stream in my front yard. I put it in summer of 2003. I am considering a much larger pond for the backyard.

I am a computer engineer. I work on all of my appliances because: I enjoy it, i am a control freak and/or I am too cheap to pay others to do it.

I have a wife and two school age boys. We have an aging septic system so in 2004 we took water conservation measures in our home (including new toilets and a new fl washer).
