I am an experimenter of sorts, that has tried numerous subtropical plants here in the western communities SW of Victoria BC.

Right now I have C.Sinensis (tea), Livistonia Chinensis,
numerous kinds of bamboo(2 timber varieties) and a few Cinnamomum Camphora which were imports from Yokohama.

Nothing has died on me, even after last winters -6.3c dry cold snap.
