Hello Garden Webbers! I have always enjoyed gardening- since I was a child wroking in the garden with my great grandmother. My main interests are food and herb plants- especially those that are little used here, gardening organically, bonding with my compost pile, etc.... I am always experimenting- seeing what will put up with my climate and day length and the weeds I often forget to pull. Several times a year I get seeds from Panama. I also keep several rare breeds of chickens and a few other birds.

We home school our four little girls and this is their page too. My oldest grows cotton, sunflowers, and a few winter veggies in her garden. The second grows flowers for butterflies and daikon radish (she loved the Radish Spirit on the movie "Spirited Away"). The third prefers the orchard. She checked the peaches about twice a day this past summer and cried when our goat pruned the plum tree... They often have seeds to trade on my list. The baby isnt into gardening yet- shes working on figuring out walking. But, she enjoys spending time outside.
