I am a teacher of biology at Mendocino High School. I became addicted to the many wonderful species of maples over 20 years ago and to supply my expensive habit I learned to graft maples. I began a small maple nursery in 1992 and it has grown to about an acre of maples. Over the years I have collected over 50 species of which I have over 160 cultivars of those species. I am always on the hunt for exciting new varieties that I do not have.
