I have a teenage daughter who doesn't have much interest in gardening (but I WISH she did! - lol). My gardening areas are pretty much shade, but I am involved in the ongoing process of overhauling my mom's yard/garden (she's almost 80). She has lots of peonies, roses, etc. that have been there for decades and her gardening area is ALL sun! So I'm learning a lot about each! I LOVE flea markets, dump picking, etc. Our dump is AWESOME and I have gotten a lot of great "stuff." My mom's house has been in her family four generations and we had to tear down the barn last year. Because I come from a whole family of packrats, I have the original interior doors and all the windows from the original house to work with so I'll be looking for all kinds of ideas! Got lots of slate and barn board too!
