Sand, sand and more sand, white, beach, limey sand. This is my world. I live 3K of our beautiful beach, however it makes the garden not so beautiful. Another factor is wind, it is just a very windy spot, just around the corner is not as windy as on our block. These are the realities of my gardennig. I can describe myself as a mad recycler, puting anything organic back into the soil. I let seedlings come-up where they want, I remove them only when they place themselves in a very inconvenient spot. I allow my plants some sort of freedom, just give them a bit of 'guidience'.
