I have been living in Texas for about 15 years. My hobbies are gardening and fishing. I previously lived in Michigan and Ohio. I live near the Gulf Coast about 20 miles from Galveston to the north. The weather conditions here are ideal, in my opinion. It does get really hot, and it's a challenge when choosing plants for the landscape. I love color, color, color when it comes to my yard and gardens. I like to plant all different kinds of things, not just annuals. I love all kinds of perennials. I like to experiment with different plants and bulbs and flowers. If they work, then I will grow more. I really love the antique roses, clematis, and sunflowers. I always have something growing in my small vegetable garden. I like to try and propagate cuttings and sometimes have success.
