Im in my fifth year of first-time gardening in S. Montgomery Co., MD-and dealing with black spot on roses, growing excellent tomatoes, and our expanding and unusual garden.

Love hellebores, tricyrtis, unusual alchemillas, roses,the Big Sky echinaceas, and the more unusual species of plants that grow well in our area.

Still trying to gt a handle on our weird growing season, as Im from NYC and all this is new to me.We have few deer, thank god!
