I am extending my garden, have planted gingers and heliconias under my Tipuana Tipu to protect them from frost. Have become interested in cannas and have a wide variety. Have also planted Alacosias and Caladiums (under the tree) and hope they go well. This garden is taking ages to do but I love it. I also have a frog pond, unfortunately I put duck weed in it instead of Azola and it becomes very thick, I'm thinking of putting fish in the pond but think they may eat the tadpoles. Will probably have to clean the whole thing out and start again when the taddies grow - any suggestions would be most welcome!

I am looking forward to becoming part of Garden Web - I love gardening and enjoy talking with other gardeners.
