My wife and I are organic market gardeners and shepherds on a small farm in the western half of the state of Kentucky. While the operation hasn't been around that long, the seed had been lying dormant and has rooted deeply now that it has been planted. Our overall philosphy is one of community supported sustainable agriculture and a simple lifestyle. Our produce consists mostly of heirloom varieties or modern cultivars of exceptional eating quality. We sell our vegetables at local farmers markets, and are working towards a "subscription" model for selling produce directly to families for weekly deliveries (a CSA, in other words). The sheep are a primitive fleece breed with a wide range of natural colors. We have sold raw fleeces to handspinners and hope to expand this potentially lucrative market.

We are also in the process of starting a small native plant nursery, our goal being to grow genotypes/phenotypes of Kentucky origin when possible. Our marketing will be geared towards Krystyna's design clients and the occasional wholesale buyer.
