I am a "Newbie"..:o) I got started 2 years ago after visiting a local nursery called "Perfect Perennials". One of the owner's (Diane Kendig) took the time to show me around and talk to me about Daylilies. After a nice visit, I decided to purchase 5 Daylilies from her. That was all it took. This past summer they bloomed beautifully and I was "Hooked". I started this past December collecting Daylilies and have managed to acquire 532 varieties to date. I concentrated on the award winner's first, then procceded to go for various color and size combinations. At this point I have spent the last 3 months going for the "Newer" introductions and trying too learn and expand my limited knowledge about the Daylily and it's talented Hybridizer's. I came upon this site and have really enjoyed the wealth knowledge and information shared here. I hope too learn from all you talented people and share some of my passion for Daylilies with you all also.
