My fantasy garden is a porcelain planter on the balcony of a penthouse in Manhattan (with staff). However, I've been knitting since I was four, and have never stopped loving it. Family and friends have long been known to grimace when I arrive at Christmas with arms full of squishy packages. Too bad, I say. It's either that or I'll cook for them, and suddenly they remember why they love socks and afghans so much.
