I am beginning to develop a wildflower garden at the edge of our woods. I prefer to use Zone 4 plants because we are pretty high up here. I am only at the very beginning stages of this, but look forward to it a great deal. My husband is a tree-planting freak; he's put in about 150 small trees this spring, and as many last year. We are really going to run out of room if he doesn't slow down. We also have a few roses and I am replanting the perennial bed this year after a long term of neglect. I keep forgetting my herb garden -- they didn't winter over as well as I would have liked this year, so I suspect I will have to do some replanting there too.
