My first visit to GardenWeb was in the winter of 1996-97, and I was hooked immediately. A total newbie to gardening at the time, I have since learned a lot and still have tons to learn. In my small townhouse yard, I am growing a variety of perennials, annuals, and bulbs.

Over the years, I've had the pleasure of meeting many fellow gardeners through get-togethers in the mid-Atlantic area and the famous Chicagoland get-togethers.
