I have been sewing since I was a teen, in 2002 I saw a kit that matched the decor of a bedroom at my parents home so I decided to give it a try. Needless to say I was hooked and I have been quilting every since. I pieced the first quilt but had it quilted locally but that was not enough I have to do the whole process. I have made several quilts over the years which have all been given as gifts or donated to charities, much to my DH complaint we have yet to have a quilt for our home. About a year ago I purchased a New Joy quilt frame and I have been happily stitching every since. I garden in two raised beds that we built in 2001, its such a nice neat way of gardening, I could not tolerate destroying the back yard for a few vegetables. Its definitely the way to garden and the production of vegetables every year is very impressive.
