This winter, my husband and I moved to our retirement farm, we have 50 acres. We started building our house last summer and moved in by January. We are completely off grid. This summer was my first attempt at a vegetable garden. It worked out well so next year we are planning to expend the garden. My favorite flowers are irises, daylilies, hostas, grasses and vines. We tried roses but so did the rabbits. Now were staying with clematis. I have started winter sowing. Last year I had a 70% success rate so this year I will try more. Right now Im just enjoying the farm.
