I like to avoid chemical fertilizers/pesticides as much as possible and therefore compost a great deal (I've read The Humanure Handbook). I also make a lot of homebrewed beer, so I've taken to growing my own hops.

I've been having a lot of fun playing with cover-cropping and green-manuring.

I also do a little guerilla gardening on the side.
