I've been interested in plants since I was at school, I was a keen naturalist hunting for Orchids on the rolling chalk grasslands of the North Downs in England and then started to grow my own plants. I started with Cacti, then got into Tropicals, then alpines and bulbs, then "normal garden plants" and finally tropical orchids. I have a collection of Cyclamen species, Fritillaria and alpines and have started growing tropical orchids in the house.

I don't think my love of plants will ever end....

Since June 2000 I have been creating a website of some of my favourite plants. It now has sections on Cyclamen, Orchids, Alpines, "an English Garden" (a pictorial web diary), and my visit to Brazil. The site is constantly growing and I hope to add some of the articles I have had published plus more on cultivation, sources etc.
