Well, my husband and I are Canadian, both of us were born in Ontario. We live on 10 acres just north of the city. Of course we don't garden the whole 10 acres. But I do have many gardens, it seems in my old age I went crazy digging up the grass( that's before I learned about lasagna gardening) and making more flowers beds. Sometimes I think I bit off a little more than I can chew. It's easy to start a garden, but you have to maintain them, and that takes time and energy. However we are thinking of downsizing, at first we thought of spending our winters in Florida, because our son and family are there, but I think we've been Canadians too long and find it hard to spend all winter in Florida. I do think we will probably spend a couple of months there, probably next winter(2004-2005). We are planning on selling our property in the spring, but I'd like to have a smaller property somewhere in this area, and still be able to garden. I get such enjoyment out of it. Just recently my love has turned to African Violets, Brugmansia, and Winter Sowing. So I have lots to think about, plan, and dream.

I live in: Canada
