I am a member of the "Baby Boomer" generation and have been gardening off and on for the last 30-something years. I love fragrant flowers and plants as well as colorful flowering plants such as clematis and poppies. In 2004 I tried the winter sowing method of planting seeds with the help of fellow GWers by trading for seeds on the GW Seed Exchange. I have been very pleased and impressed with the generosity of fellow gardeners. I now gather seeds from my garden to share with other GW members. I'm retired from my day job--now more time for gardening! My DH and I are snowbirds since 2009-10, and I'm still excited to learn and explore the world of tropical plants and gardening. There is always something new to learn about gardening!
