Things to remember about gardening on the Edward Plateau:

1. if it grows anywhere else, it will probably hate it here.

2. there is no soil.

3. there is no shade.

4. Always budget in the concrete chisel rental fees into your spring budget.

5. If all fails, plant lantana instead.
