my wife and I garden in Western New York suburbia on a nice sized lot. We have 15 raised beds, 6 of which are dedicated to vegetables and melons, the other nine for different berries. We also several fruit trees, currants, gooseberries, and elderberries, and two fig trees in pots. I've found that drip irrigation makes a huge difference! I try to stay organic in sprays and fertilizers, including the lawn.
