I've been an on-again/off-again "gardener" for several years now. It wasn't until we installed a 2500 gallon pond in our backyard that I really started collecting plants and working in the yard. My husband keeps turtles in the pond so its really been interesting trying to find plants tough enough to survive a turtle trampling!

In August 2004, we installed a small pond that is "turtle free" and now I can do whatever I want with it!

The rest of my yard is a work in progress...I mostly have plants that were donated to me. It will be fun when I can actually give back as well as receive!
