I work at my family's nursery that specializes in conifers and Japanese maples, which I'm still learning about. I love it, but my real passion is vegetable gardening, particularly heirloom varieties. My biggest obsession is probably tomatoes. I have a growing collection of heirloom and open-pollinated tomato varieties that I raise in an unheated hoophouse. I'd like to start growing flowers for cut flower bouquets as well.
