I am brazilian, living in the US for 6 years. I just completed a course in landscaping design at the New York Botanical Garden. Also I did gardening for 4 years back in Brazil. Although I come from the tropics, I always had a passion for conifers. I am going to specialize in landscaping design for terraces, rooftops, balconies and city backyard, in which I intend to use the wide variety of conifers ( so underestimated in design!)My favorite conifer is the ARAUCARIA ANGUSTIFOLIA, which for everyone's surprise is the national tree of Brazil!!
