I live in Sydenham, a suburb of Melbourne and over the past two years we've started an organic vegetable garden on our suburban block as a trial as our dream is to get 5-10 acres somewhere north or west of Melbourne and live sustainably, and semi-retire.

We grow mostly heritage veggies, and have had a lot of successes and only a few failures so far. I think the life of a part-time worker is looking pretty good so far :-)
