I'm a professional cook near Seattle and am currently obsessed with the house thing. DH and I are in the "pick it all out" stages of building our new home while trying to simultaneouly remodel (thriftfully!) our current house, a 1917 Bungelow. We've got a new baby on the way, too, so life is pretty full right now!

Fav forums: kitchen, building a home, cooking, cookware, appliances. I've been lurking for awhile, but only started to post recently.

Personal soapbox moment: if you use and enjoy these forums, please donate the $15 to become a full member and keep the site going. Its a great resource, a true on-line community, and cheaper and more entertaining than most movies! I fully expect the advice that DH and I receive on this site here will save us thousands in mistakes and regrets over the course of building our house. What's $15 for all that? OK, soapbox grandstanding is over. Thanks! :)
