I wish more people would take the time to nurture and appreciate nature, "smell the roses" so to speak. It shows care, and when you think about it, for the time spent, it is well worth it.

Some excellent gardens in my area are at the Vanderbilt Mansion, Vassar College, Montgomery Place, and Bard College.

Best time to visit someone else's garden? When flowers bloom and when the seeds come, the rest of the time you work on your own. Trading plants and seeds is one of the oldest acts of kindness and survival in human culture and history. Much appreciated, glad to see we haven't lost it.

Things I want to see/do in my lifetime:
Travel Europe for one year (at least)
Find my Family Roots in Ireland (working on it 5 years now)
World Peace would be nice, for a change.
