I have been gardening from scratch for the past 4 yrs. and have recently put a little pond in the yard. What I mean by 'gardening from scratch' is that the property we bought doesn't have any mature trees on it. As a matter of fact there wasn't anything but grass here when we moved in. In the past 4 yrs. I have planted several trees (still small), shrubs (even smaller), climbing roses, 6 garden areas, and now the pond. I have been reading alot about ponds here and look forward to accessing more info from the knowledgable people that are on this site.
