I am an elementary school teacher in a rural area of northeast Georgia. Several years ago I became interested in butterfly gardening when our local master gardeners installed a garden at our school. After helping to complete the first garden I decided to take the M.G. class.
When school starts back in August I will be in a brand new classroom. The area between the new addition and our library is a project that I will be working on with LOTS of help from our local extension agent, master gardeners, and 4-H. Hopefully this will be developed into a beautiful courtyard garden. It's really exciting. Right now I'm looking for possible grants to launch this very worthwhile project. The site looks pretty scary right now- but the possibilities are endless!! Wish us luck.
