I m just another gardener that loves the great outdoors and mother nature. I live on a 35 acre ranch in East Texas. We have 2 dogs, a catfish pond, a koi pond, and more horses than we need. I love just about anything that either blooms or looks tropical. I have a huge butterfly garden with zinnias, marigolds, hibiscus and many other plants. I have 10 different kinds of cannas planted everywhere along with Elephant Ears and Banana trees. I take great pleasure in birding. I have bluebirds in all my houses, buntings, finches, cardnials, bluejays, blackcap chickadees, titmouse, humming birds, woodpeckers, and many many other birds too many to list. I ve had as many as 100 Golden Finchs in my window feeder in the winter. I just love anything that has to do with getting closer to nature. My very favorite thing is to have my hands in the dirt.Followed closely by my koi ponds.
