Since I live in a semi-arid area I have planted winter hardy cacti around my mobile home and have a large collection of cacti and succulents in a small attached room.

Growing cacti in Colorado is not the same as in Calif. or Arizona so a bit more of a challenge because we have a shorter growing season here and great variations in temperature.

Besides my great love for growing things, I also volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation sanctuary.

It's so nice to get information from the forums and at times, I get quite a chuckle from some of the comments.
