Due to some of things I learned on the various GardenWeb forums, Ive become very interested in the effect what we do in our yards can have. Im trying to provide more habitat for wildlife (even though our propertys fairly small), and incorporate more native plants.

I also learned that many of the plants local garden centers, and major plant mail-order companies sell are known to have displaced native species in natural areas, so Ive been trying to be much more careful about what I bring into my yard.
