We started ponding probably 15 years ago with my son & my hubby digging a figure 8 pond with a depth of about 4ft. after many disappointments with leakage in the liners, we finally went to a preformed pond which was much smaller, only took up on side of the figure 8. This year we added a second preformed pond and they form a T shape now. It is so infectious that i also have a small water garden in the front yard (plants only) and this year added a "Pot Pond" to our front porch which is plants only but has a small pump in it which creates the "sound" we all love of flowing water.
