Single Retired very early and working on a large city yard that was gutted 2 years ago! It is full sun with lousy clay soil, a ton of pine tree remnants and..a 13 lb maltese digger. This is all opposite of my previous fertile, shady garden, so it is a work in progress. I need all the help I can get. :) I live in a Northern suburb of Detroit in Royal Oak. It is considered a 6, but I've got southern exposure with little tree coverage so it tends to be on the warmer side.
