Hiya!
Have been collecting since September 2002 and as such most of my collection is still quite young, but all the same rapidly expanding and growing. Absolutely adore Jade (Crassula ovata) plants, am searching for as many different varieties as I can get my hands on!
I find most of my plants in local nurseries or as cuttings from different places, but also have some mixed cacti seedlings and also many Melocacti seedlings too.
I was born in and grew up in London, then lived on the Kapiti Coast of New Zealand for 8 years, and have been living in Queensland for over 6 years now where I work as a Paramedic.
We recently moved from the Gold Coast to Charleville in outback Queensland, and both the plants and us too are still making the adjustments to the new weather! In summer the dry heat can reach well into the 40's with only 20-30% humdity, but we've heard too that in winter frosts down to -6 or so can be common, with sunny cloudless days to warm you up again.
Cheers! :D
