I'm gardening on an island in Narragansett bay. We grow heirloom tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and giant pumpkins, along with other vegtables and flowers. Most of my flower beds are filled with herbaceous peonies and I hope to expand my collection and plant some tree peonies this fall.

We also raise peacocks, ornamental pheasants, turkeys, chickens and rabbits that I like to "free range" as much as possible. Keeping them all out of the garden is a full time job.
