My parents have a picture of me at 2 1/2, helping my father plant Bachelor's Buttons - I've been gardening ever since. My husband didn't grow up gardening, but after almost 30 years of marriage, he's picked up a lot!

We live in a great Victorian house and we lean towards plants that fit with that era. We are lucky to have full sun and full shade and everything in between, so we can at least try to grow just about anything we want.

My particular loves are hostas, antique roses, and native plants. I love sharing plants with other gardeners, both giving away some of mine and getting new plants from other gardens (although I'm running out of room!).
