I just bought a house with a huge back yard. I haven't lived in a house for 15 years, and my gardening skills are a bit rusty. I have very sandy soil, great drainage, but not too rich, and I am in the process of planting a 625 sq ft garden (I know I wil be swimming in veggies, but I couldn't resist). So far, there is sweet corn, eggplant, 5 kinds of peppers, 5 kinds of tomatoes, 3 winter sqashes, 2 kinds of watermelon, canataloupe, honeydew, 5 kinds of lettuce, onions, garlic, ad nauseum.
