I have been in my house for over 40 years. I have a lot of shade, but have been thinning trees out. Have many azaleas and sring bulbs. Just into perennials last few years. As I travel I draw sketches of gardens I like and recreate them in my yard. I planted a box knot garden, woodland walkway and many perennial beds. I have hundreds of flowering bushes: azaleas, spirea, almonds, quince, hydrangeas, just about everthing. This spring I planted 10 heirloom roses on 5 arbors with clemetis in beteen. What a treat! The next project a pergolla covered, candel lite outdoor dining room.
