Im 55, happily married to my husband Jeff of 8 years with a 19 year old daughter..(hence the gray hair coming in nicely). She has moved out and now Jeff and I are "empty nesters". Its not bad actually, Im turning her bedroom into a sewing room.."L". Update: Seems I'm going to be a grandmother in September..better keep some room for visits.."L" Gardening is one of my first loves. My grandmother toaught me to flower garden at a very young age. She had a green thumb that was beyond belief! To stick your hands in the warm earth, plant a seed and watch it come up is a great feeling! Im planting my first ever all butterfly garden and Im really excited about it. I also have planned to do a cottage garden in the near future. We planted a veggie garden this year and I think I might have Jeff hooked! Too many plants and not enough hours in the day! for my round robin exchanges: I also collect windchimes, vintage hankies, teapots that have a history as opposed to new ones. I love antique or vintage buttons. I adore chocolate, tea and anything peppermint. I like candle scents that are spicy, cinnamon or food scents. I also have fairies in my gardens...as well as anything whismsical that strikes my fancy.."S"
