I have recently taken a HUGE interest in creating wonderful things out of plants. I always knew how beneficial mother nature can be, but have never taken advantage of it. I am currently learning, growing, and observing all of the wonderful things the Earth has to offer :) I am staying away from chemicals and being as organic as possible. I am currently growing aloe, rosemary, knockout roses, autumn damask roses, calendula, spearmint, chamomile, and cucumber - My first attempt at germinating lavender was a huge FAIL. I am 28, married to an awesome guy, and have an amazing 7 year old son and a wonderful step-daughter. We live in North Carolina out in the country on a very large piece of land that I intend to fully utilize in the spring of 2013 (now that I have found my new love of plants). Right now, I am growing most of my babies indoors under metal halide and high pressure sodium lights. Looking forward to some rosemary and chamomile tea soon... maybe with a pinch of orange zest :)
