After years of working in garden centers, I'm currently helping a friend start her new nursery, g.c.. '05 will be our first season. And well, no, not all nursery employees are lazy, ignorant, and mendacious. Just some of us : ).

Also, last year, I started my own smalltime garden consultancy business. I do design, ident. (plant, insect, disease), and referrals, which is to say, everything I used to do as an overworked, underpaid, surly employee, and now charge $35.00 an hour to do. If anyone else is doing this type of consulting work, I would love to hear about it!
