I'm a gardener with a small suburban lot. Despite its size, I spend a lot of time out there, trying to think of new ways to cram another rose or another perennial into the space. Bit by bit, I have eaten away at the lawn, to my husband's delight. Matter of fact, I'm going outside to take another wedge out in the front. Now, where is the shovel?

Other hobbies: genealogy, reading, needlepoint, stained glass, quilting and art. Things I spend a lot of time doing, but don't particularly like: working out and struggling with my weight, with varying success.
