I discovered gardening about 7 years ago was hooked immediately. I am just starting to start my own seeds instead of transplants and am experimenting with composting.

My garden is 40'X 48'. There are 5 raised beds made of concrete block. I will be putting in another 8 this spring. Each bed is 4'X 12'. I am just getting into perennials for the bed in front of my veggie garden. There is an arbor over the gate that will have a rose and clematis growing over it.

I also like the rose, perennials and cottage garden forums.

I used to be a Systems Manager at a local University but quit when I adopted my second child. Now I am a stay home and garden Mom. I love to garden, quilt, cross stitch and play with the pygmy goat Shadow. I have a dog, bird, cat, goat and horse.
