Since buying this house we have had to do a lot of things to make the house and yard work with Siberian-huskies (I can forget gardening in the backyard for the next 12 years!). We also needed to paint the exterior, and that's done, so we have finally started working on the yard. Thank goodness the darn drought is over, especially since I'm getting started in July. To get me excited I put in four hydrangeas and some mass plantings of impatiens - perfect for a lazy gardener in the South.
